A series of short videos promoting the Bellevue Zip Tour, produced by Bellevue Television and two other videos received recognition at the annual National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) awards ceremony on Oct. 3 in St. Paul, Minn.
Videos promoting the city’s new zip tour attraction took second place in the Promotional Video Campaign category. Bellevue Television also received honorable mention awards for two additional videos, “Life of a Recruit-Fire Training” and “911 Call Response.”
The videos were produced by city staff, and Bellevue College staff and advanced video production students including John Burwell, Robin Haaseth, David Richardson, David Grant, David Bruckner, Mei Dayton-Celt, Ben Shahabi and Brian Bell.
The government programming awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies. More than 1,200 entries from across the county and over 180 agencies were received for the awards.
