Audrey Bennett, of Bellevue, recently was elected Washington State PTA Region 2 Director, which supports PTAs in Bellevue, Mercer Island, Issaquah, Lake Washington, Riverview, and Snoqualmie Valley school districts in eastern King County.

Prior to being elected region director, Bennett served as leadership vice president and president of Bellevue PTSA Council, co-vice president and president at Newport High PTSA, and president and secretary at Tyee Middle School PTSA. Additionally, she served two years on the Washington State PTA Leadership Committee.

In addition to her service to the Washington State PTA, Bennett has recently accepted a new role as Reps Leader with the Bellevue Schools Foundation. She also is an avid knitter and reader, and enjoys spending time with her family.
