Bipolar disorder in young adults topic of lecture

Bipolar disorder in young adults will be the topic as Bellevue College (BC) and the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-Eastside) host Robert Devney, M.D., in a free public lecture Feb. 10

The event begins at 7 p.m. in room 201 of the college’s N Building, located at the south of end of BC’s main campus.

Devney began his career in medicine in 1978 as a pediatrician but changed course in 1985 to become a psychiatrist. He has been affiliated with Woodinville Psychiatric group practice for more than 10 years.

The Feb. 10 lecture is the latest in a series of presentations on mental health topics sponsored jointly by NAMI Eastside and Bellevue College
