The birdies will be flying at the Bellevue Badminton Club this weekend as it hosts the Seattle Open.

Several World Champion players and Olympians will be participating, including Tony Gunawan, (Olympic Gold Medalist in 2000 Sydney Games, 2001 Gold Medal Word Championships, and 2005 Gold Medal World Champions); Howard Bach (2005 Gold Medal World Championship, 2008 USA Olympic Team); Huiawen Xu (2006 + 2008 Gold Medal All European Championships, 2005 + 2006 Bronze Medal World Championships, 2004 + 2008 German Olympic Team); and Raju Rai (6 Time US National Champion, 2008 USA Olympic Team) and one of Apollo Anton Ohno Best Friends that trained together in Colorado Springs at the USA Olympic Training Center.

Catch the action Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The finals will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
