Half Price Books has launched its 12th annual Half Pint Library Book Drive. The six-week program collects and distributes children’s books to families and children in need through local non-profit and community organizations.

The book drive will continue through March 31 at Half Price Books locations, including Crossroads Bellevue Mall at 15600 N.E. Eighth St., Suite F-2.

Half Pint Libraries were created to give children and their families the chance to read and share books while staying at pediatric clinics and community centers across the nation. The drive accepts any type of children’s book, including Spanish language books, as long as they are in good condition.

To date, the Half Pint Library program has provided more than two million books nationwide for children.
