Odle Middle School, Sammamish High School and the Bellevue branch of the University of Washington Book Store will collect new and used children’s and young adult books to help students who need continued literacy experiences through the summer to prevent academic “slide back.”

New and gently used books may be dropped off at any of the above schools or the UW book store in Bellevue before June 15. For more information about the book drive go to the Be The Bridge Facebook site or e-mail bethebridge@hamsel.com.
