The Bellevue Botanical Garden Society’s 2008 gala and auction – Monet’s Garden – will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Bellevue Westin.
Tickets start at $100 per person and include dinner. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a Champagne welcome.
John Curley is the auctioneer and one of the hot auction items is a pair of custom outdoor light fixtures patterned after outdoor lights on the old Du Pont Estate, Winterthur in Delaware. The lights were donated by long-time garden members and a custom stand was built by garden member John Kane. The lights are now on display at the Garden Visitor Center.
