Volunteers needed to help with various city events and programs throughout the summer. Events and registration contact information include:

• Volunteer Canoe Guides: Ongoing. Share your expertise in a beautiful, natural environment by providing canoe tours of the Mercer Slough Nature Park. 425-452-4195.

• Downtown Transit Center Community Police Station Volunteers: Ongoing. Volunteers answer phones, assist walk-in visitors, and help the station officer with special projects and community events. • Specialized Recreation Programs: Ongoing. Volunteers needed to help out with specialized recreation programs at Highland Center.
