The American Cancer Society’s fifth annual Good Times for Goodtimes Wine Auction will be presented beginning at 5 p.m. today at the Harbor Club in downtown Bellevue.

A varied line-up of silent and live auction items will be up for bid, including dream vacations, once- in-a- lifetime experiences, culinary excursions, VIP ticketed events, sought-after collectable wines and more)

The evening will be accompanied and accommodated by Honorary Wine Chair Flint Nelson of Kestrel Vintners who will provide a selection of wines for tasting from several award-winning West Coast wineries.

The evening’s meal will be procured by the Harbor Club’s exclusive Executive Chef, David Theirry, which is complemented by handpicked Kestrel Vintners wine.

The This ‘good time’ event will benefit Camp Goodtimes, Adventure Camp & Sailing Camp along with other programs for children and young adults who are patients and survivors of cancer.

For two weeks each summer, children aged 7-17 with a history of cancer can forget about their illnesses and just be kids again at Camp Goodtimes on Vashon Island.

Adventure Camp is for older campers and offers intensive activities such as ocean-kayaking and camping in the San Juan Islands. At Sailing Camp, patients and survivors ages 16-25 get to sail from Bellingham to Tacoma on a 110’ Gaff Topsail Twomasted Schooner for three days and two nights.

In addition, the Cancer Survivor Scholarship Fund provides up to $10,000 per person in scholarship funds to survivors of cancer.
