Eastside Community Network will hold a career and resource fair from 1-6 p.m. May 22 at Crossroads Bellevue Shopping Center. The event is designed for people aged 16 to adult to learn, network and pursue employment.
Learning panels on the center’s stage will feature the Role of Social Media in Employment, Dress for Success, Panel Presentations for job seekers with disabilities, Your Interview: the Interactive Experience, You Have the Job, Now What?, Volunteer to Build Your Resume, and more.
Crossroads merchants will offer their expertise and input to guide job-seekers through Dress for Success and other scopes of expertise. The event will also feature a diverse group of Puget Sound employers prepared for on-the-spot interviews with potential employees.
Also included will be small-group mentoring conversations for job-coaching, resume reviews, community programs and stretching resources with leading business professionals, the Eastside Cultural Navigators, Worksource and Hopelink Job Developers.
Crossroads Bellevue is located at Northeast Eighth Street and 156th Avenue Northeast.
