A total of 116 cats and kittens were adopted last weekend at Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society’s Catapalooza. The event also found homes for seven dogs and three critters.

Six animal welfare organizations joined for the event. Seattle Humane placed 93 pets and MEOW, Purrfect Pals, Everett Animal Shelter, South County Cats, KCACC, and Seattle Himalayan/Purebred Rescue placed 33 felines total.

More cats, dogs and critters are available for adoption at the Humane Society, at the intersection of I-405 and I-90. It is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m. For directions call 425-641-0080.
