A charity run Saturday in Medina will affect drivers at a number of locations.

A charity run Saturday in Medina will affect drivers at a number of locations.

The event, from 8:30-10 a.m. begins at St. Thomas School and ends at Medina Park.

Those who wish to exit Medina and who live north of Northeast Eighth will have to travel southbound on Evergreen Point Road and then eastbound on Northeast Eights. Vehicles exiting from Northeast 14th, Northeast 16th, Northeast 18th and Northeast 22nd will be permitted to turn onto southbound Evergreen Point Road as breaks in the race participants allow.

People who live north of Northeast 24th will be directed up to Evergreen Point Road where they will head south to Northeast Eighth.

To enter Medina, those going north of Northeast Eighth will want to use Northeast 24th and then proceed south or northbound on Evergreen Point Road to reach their destination. They will be able to turn from Evergreen Point Road onto Northeast 10th, Northeast 14th, Northeast 16th, Northeast 18th and Northeast 22nd. Drivers headed westbound on Northeast 24th will not be permitted to cross the eastbound lane of traffic. Drivers will have to go up to Evergreen Point Road and then access that area off of either Northeast 22nd or Northeast 16th.
