A mobile buffet of culinary offerings in the form of 12 food trucks parked at Ashwood Park on Thursday for CHOW DOWN(town).

The event was organized by Bellevue resident and city parks employee Jon Wilson “after hearing from residents who wanted to see a food truck event downtown,” he said.

Vendors included: ChopStix – Asian Fusion; Falafel Salam – Middle Eastern; Lumpia World – Filipino; Street Treats – ice cream sandwiches; Skillet Street Food – burgers, poutine; Yi Dim Sum – dim sum; Buns on Wheels – gourmet burgers; Ezell’s Express Chicken – southern fried chicken; Tokyo Dog – Japanese-style hot dogs; Hot Revolution – mini hot donuts; and Fruit Chatterbox – fresh cut fruit with toppings.
