Five closures of the SR 520 floating bridge and highway will occur, one direction at a time, during August and September.

Westbound-only full closures will extend from 92nd Avenue Northeast to Montlake Boulevard.

Closures will be in effect from:

11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23. A single lane will be closed from 9-11 p.m. and 5-6 a.m.

11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30. A single lane will be closed from 9-11 p.m. and 5-6 a.m.

11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. The highway will remain closed during the day until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7

9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 to 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15

In addition, there will be an eastbound-only full closure from Montlake Boulevard to I-405 from 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

The road closure is to complete work activities while keeping traffic flowing during peak weekday travel times. During the westbound closures, crews will pour concrete columns for the new West Connection Bridge.

During the eastbound closure, crews will shift traffic onto new highway lanes near Bellevue Way.
