Construction for the Coal Creek Parkway project will restart Tuesday, Feb. 18, returning the road to one lane in each direction between Forest Drive Southeast and Southeast 60th Street.
Phase 2 of the project will start at 9 a.m. with Olympic Pipeline and private utilities making preparations ahead of the city’s construction, which will start in April and includes building a new bridge and running a pedestrian pathway under it connecting to the Coal Creek trail. The west side of the bridge was constructed last year.
Coal Creek Parkway will remain at one lane each way until October with a 25 mph speed limit through the work zone.
