Election Trust, the designated election officer for the King Conservation District’s March 19 for the board of supervisor position, will finalize the canvas of ballots no later than Wednesday, March 25.
Bellevue-based Election Trust is handling the counting of ballots submitted at 13 voting centers across the King Conservation
District, which encompasses most of King County.
The district provides information and technical
assistance programs that are available to all
landowners within the district’s boundaries on a
voluntary, non-regulatory basis. The all-volunteer,
five member board includes three elected members and
two who are appointed by the Washington State
Conservation Commission. All supervisors serve
three-year terms.
Candidates seeking the post are Preston Drew, Carnation; David Mauk, Carnation; and Mark Sollitto, Seattle.
