The King County Council to host a hearing in Bellevue to get information on the county’s 2011 budget. The county anticipates cuts of $60 million.
Additional meetings will be held in Seattle, Snoqualmie and Kent
“During this difficult budget process, programs and services that our residents depend on are going to be cut or eliminated,” said Councilmember Julia Patterson. “We need to hear from the public about the services they value, their ideas for saving money, and how we can do more with less.”
Hosted by Patterson, the Bellevue meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 at City Council Chambers in Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE.
Day-after coverage of the public hearing will be available both online and on King County TV, seen on Comcast Cable Channel 22.
