People can polish their look for the holidays and make them better for others by attending the first-ever “Brighten the Holidays” event Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Spektor Dental Center in Bellevue.

A direct donation of $200 to either Northwest Harvest or Washington Women in Need is the entry fee for the day of beauty, which may include:

Smile whitening power boost by Opalescence, hair reshape, bang trim or up-do by Salon Bellezza, one-hour professional make-up and seasonal fragrance wardrobing with Trish McEvoy artists, “Trial Smile” with Dr. David Baird of Spektor Dental Center (before and after photo, temporary treatment), accessorizing for the holidays with Tatters boutique, hand massages and paraffin dips and a goodie bag, espresso bar and treats.

Several local businesswomen have come together to donate their time and talent to make this event possible: Gina Abernathy and team from Salon Bellezza, Melanie Raphan of Trish McEvoy artists of Nordstrom, Michele Tesler of Tatters and Dr. Wendy Spektor and team at Spektor Dental Center.
