Denis William Archer of Bellevue passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue. He was 79.

Mr. Archer was born June 5, 1930 in Guernsey, Channel Islands to Arthur and Elise Archer. On September 24, 1955 he married Eileen Theresa Athy at St. Joseph’s Church, St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. They lived and worked in Great Britain until 1980 when they moved to Chicago. They settled in Bellevue in 2003.

Mr. Archer enjoyed photography, travel, sports, dancing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen of Bellevue; son, Paul Archer of Bellevue; and grandchildren, Flynn, Shelby, and Sophia.

The family suggests remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul, 5950 4th Ave. S. Seattle, WA 98108.

A funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7 at St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church in Bellevue. Private burial will be held at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline.
