Baby Basics will hold a community diaper drive through the month of May.

The goal is to raise awareness in Bellevue of the on-going need for diapers for low-income families. There are no government subsidies for diapers, and food stamps and WIC cannot be used to purchase diapers.

Diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6 are especially needed. They can be dropped off at KidsQuest Children’s Museum, 4091 Factoria Mall Blvd. S.E., Bellevue; and Samena Swim and Recreation Club, 15231 Lake Hills Blvd., Bellevue

On Saturday, May 10 there will be a diaper drive at the Bellevue Village QFC from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. And on Mother’s Day, First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue is hosting a diaper drive from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. to honor mothers.

Since October 2013 Baby Basics Bellevue has distributed more than 30,000 diapers to families. More information is available via email at babybasicsbellevue@live.com or  online.
