Several animal welfare agencies will be offering discounted spay and neuter services as part of World Spay Day.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society will offer $15 female cat spays, $5 male cat neuters and $5 microchipping and FVRCP vaccinations as part of package. Pets must be at least 4 months old and the prices are for low-income qualified pet owners.

For appointments, call 425-649-7560.

The King County Regional Animal Services and Pasado’s Safe Haven have teamed to offer a discounted $10 fee for either spay and neuter services on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

In addition, the two agencies will offer free microchipping with each surgery.

Space is limited and slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 25. Call Pasado’s at 206-300-7217 or go to www.pasadosafehaven.org to learn more, including what they need to do to prepare their cat or dog for surgery. All surgeries will take place at Pasado’s Mobile Spay Station, parked at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
