Donate coats to help children stay warm this winter

With predictions for an especially cold, wet winter and a lingering chilly economic forecast, the Bellevue High School Fashion Club is partnering with Bellevue Youth Link and Factoria Security Self Storage to collect new and gently used coats to keep residents in need warm this winter.

Donations for the Kids Care Coat Drive can be dropped off now through Dec. 14 at any of the following locations:

-Bellevue High School, 10416 Wolverine Way SE

-Chinook Middle School, 2001 98th Ave. NE

-Enatai Elementary School, 10615 SE 23rd St.

-International School, 445 128th Ave. SE

-Newport High School, 4333 Factoria Blvd. SE

-Overlake School, 20301 NE 108th St., Redmond

-Puesta del Sol Elementary School, 3810 132nd Ave. SE; and

-Sacred Heart School, 9450 Northeast 14th St., Clyde Hill.

Donated coats will be distributed to Bellevue families in need 4 to 7 p.m., Dec. 15- 17, at the Crossroads Community Center, 16000 NE 10th St., while supplies last.
