Emma Chabal, daughter of Charles and Sharon Chabal of Bellevue, received a $750 President’s Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year.

President’s Scholarships are awarded to approximately the top 8 to 10 percent of incoming freshmen and transfer students, and are based on superior academic achievement.

Chabal, an entering freshman to WWU, earned a 3.6 GPA from Bellevue High School. She is planning to graduate in 2014.
