Eastern Washington University (EWU) and Bellevue College (BC) will present “An Evening with Jim Sinegal, CEO of Costco” via live video broadcast on the BC campus April 6.
The free, public event features interactive video coverage of Sinegal’s speech that evening at EWU’s Riverpoint Campus in Spokane. Members of the audience at Bellevue College will have the opportunity to ask questions of Sinegal over the live video connection.
The event beings at 6 p.m. in room 201 of BC’s N Building (at the south end of the college’s main campus).
Sinegal, cofounder, president and chief executive officer of Issaquah-based Costco Wholesale Corporation, has earned nationwide recognition for his role in leading Costco to a position among the world’s top warehouse-club retailers.
Among other accolades, Sinegal this week was named one of America’s Best Leaders for 2009 by US News & World Report.
Eastern Washington University and Bellevue College have collaborated since 2003 to provide BC students and area residents with career advancement opportunities through five baccalaureate degree completion programs: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Management major), Bachelor of Arts in Children’s Studies (Early Childhood Education option), Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies — Social and Behavioral Science, and Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology (Applied Technology option).
