Five from Bellevue earn Eagle Scout honors

Five Bellevue residents earned the highest recognition offered by the Boy Scouts of America recently, as Calvin Ng, Brian Helmholz, Chris Lilley, Ashwin Mohan and Jeff Pike were named Eagle Scouts.

Five Bellevue residents earned the highest recognition offered by the Boy Scouts of America recently, as Calvin Ng, Brian Helmholz, Chris Lilley, Ashwin Mohan and Jeff Pike were named Eagle Scouts.

The members of Troop 626 in Bellevue undertook the teachings and practices of the Boy Scouts for several years to become Eagle Scouts.

Pyke, Ng and Helmholz will attend the University of Washington in the fall and Lilley will study at George Fox University. Mohan is a senior at Newport High School.
