Alan Mulally, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company, was one of approximately 200 people who attended a recent event in Bellevue to determine the winner of a free 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid.
The event was held Nov. 21, at Ford Lincoln Mercury of Bellevue.
Semi-finalists were selected from giveaway entries submitted through Ford Lincoln Mercury of Bellevue, BECU branches and the recent Seattle Auto Show. Of the entries, 200 people were selected to attend the event. Ten received keys but only one key started the vehicle. The semi-finalist with the working key, Rose Lemieux, won the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid.
The giveaway was sponsored by Ford Lincoln Mercury of Bellevue and BECU.
Rated at 41 mpg in the city, the Ford Fusion Hybrid is America’s most fuel-efficient mid-size sedan, beating both the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Motor Trend magazine recently selected the 2010 Ford Fusion for its Car of the Year award.
