Janet Ellinger, who pleaded guilty to embezzling about $300,000 from the Bellevue Arts Museum, was sentenced to two years in prison Thursday.

Ellinger, 54, was the chief financial officer of the museum at the time of the embezzlement. The embezzlement began in 2005 and lasted for about 1 1/2 years.

Sentencing guidelines call for a prison term between 22 and 29 months.

Ellinger, 54, also was ordered to pay $334,949 in restitution.

She will begin serving her sentence Aug. 14.
