A May 14 forum in Bellevue will discuss current research about climate change and how residents can prepare for and limit local impacts.
The latest Neighborhood Forum will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall and forces on environmental sustainability. A panel of local experts from academia, science and business will explore how we can be good stewards of the environment in our neighborhoods.
The panelists are Kevin Wilhelm, CEO of Sustainable Business Consulting and author of “Return on Sustainability”; Lara Whitely Binder, outreach and adaptation specialist with the Climate Impacts Group at the University of Washington; Patrick Mazza, research director at Climate Solutions; and Todd Myers, director of the Washington Policy Center’s Center for the Environment.
The presentation will be followed by a moderated question-and-answer session with the audience.
