The Lake Washington Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is seeking applications for its annual Community Grants Program. The application process is open to non-profit agencies, schools and youth organizations within the boundaries of Bellevue, Lake Washington, Mercer Island and Issaquah school districts.

At least four grants of up to $2,000 will be awarded for programs that promote the advancement of women and girls and gender equity, education and lifelong learning, and positive societal and community change reflecting current research. The grants may be used for existing programs or as seed money for new programs. The deadline for applications is Feb. 28.
