Two masked gunmen robbed a Newcastle Bank of America, Monday afternoon, just after 4:30 p.m. The men, described as black and wearing dark clothing had guns and made off with an unknown amount of money.

“These violent crimes are the most important cases to the Sheriff’s Office and the Safe Streets Task Force,” said King County Detective Mike Mellis.

Renton’s K9 unit and King County deputies assisted in the hunt for the suspects but neither was immediately caught.
