Eastside Baby Corner: “Donations Needed”

Details: Donate used items and clothing for children from birth to age twelve. Eastside Baby Corner will distribute them to social service care providers who work with families in need, supplying basic items to over 160 shelters, food banks, public health nurses, social workers, and other social service organizations.

Details: Friends of Youth has registered with the sites of GoodSearch.com and GoodShop.com, giving the public an alternative, effortless way to provide support for youth and families the organization serves in King and Snohomish counties. GoodSearch.com is a new search engine powered by Yahoo! The site donates 50 percent of its revenue to the charities designated by its users. GoodShop.com, an online shopping mall launched by GoodSearch and 37 percent of the purchase price will be donated to the agency.

Details: Friends of Youth is seeking gift donors and volunteers to make holiday wishes come true. Volunteer positions for this year’s event may include gift gatherers, gift processors, sorters/checkers, and gift wrappers.
