Bellevue’s top candidate for school superintendent has received another offer from the Highline School District.
Highline announced the move Monday in a press release. The board is expected to vote to approve Enfield for the position at its public meeting Wednesday evening.
Bellevue has been courting Enfield to fill the position vacated by Supt. Amalia Cudeiro, who resigned at the end of January, citing family issues.
The Bellevue School Board has been mulling an accelerated interview process for Enfield.
