“I’m always impressed by the outpour of generosity from our community,” said Brenda Barnette, Chief Executive Officer of the Bellevue-based society. “We are grateful for the support of all who attended Tuxes & Tails tonight to have a great time for a great cause!”

The special “Fund A Need” portion of the live auction raised $271,000 to support the society’s life-saving Foster Care Program. Last year, 3,001 shelter animals received critical home care from Seattle Humane Society foster care volunteers.
