The Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society is celebrating Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month throughout May by offering free or discounted adoption fees on older cats and dogs.

Adoption fees will be waived on cats three years and older, and adoption fees for dogs three years and older are half price.

Every companion animal has been microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and comes with 30 days of pet health insurance and a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian.
