Humane Society seeks home for adult cats

The Seattle Humane Society is celebrating Adopt-a-Cat Month throughout June by waiving adoption fees on cats one year and older.

Summer marks the beginning of kitten season and that means the Humane Society is filled to the brim with nearly 400 cats and kittens who need homes of their own. Society officials say that adult cats are often overlooked during kitten season and they have to wait weeks or months for a home.

The Seattle Humane Society is located at the intersection of I-405 and I-90. It is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m. For directions call 425-641-0080.
