Washington State Department of Transportation bridge crews will conduct maintenance work on the SR 520 Evergreen Point floating bridge Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Crews will close the right lane of westbound SR 520 at the east high-rise, Wednesday, Oct. 15 from midnight to 5 a.m. for electrical work.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, maintenance crews will intermittently close the bridge to traffic from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. to test the bridge machinery. Drivers will be alerted to possible 30-minute delays by electronic signs on highways that lead to the bridge.

To avoid delays associated with the closures, drivers can take I-90 across Lake Washington.
