Jessica Rossman announces candidacy for Medina council

Jessica Rossman has announced her candidacy for the Medina City Council.

As a lawyer with experience at Perkins Coie and at the US Attorney’s Office, and as a stay-home parent active in Medina, she said she is well-positioned to contribute.

She has been co-chair of Medina Days in 2015 and 2016, and is currently a member of the Medina Planning Commission.

Her family chooses to live in Medina “so that we could raise our children in a place where you can meet friendly neighbors at our local parks or at the Green Store – but where you can also live quietly and privately once you get home.”

Her husband Pete Berger is an assistant general counsel at Microsoft, and our sons, 6 and 7, attend Medina Elementary.

“A native of the Pacific Northwest, I have never found another neighborhood as charming or as livable as this one. The Medina community enjoys a unique balance of public and private, and as your representative, I will seek to protect that balance,” she wrote. “I will serve our community’s interests with professionalism and dedication, transparency and civility.”
