John Allen Croasdill of Bellevue passed away May 18, 2011 at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue. He was 81.

Mr. Croasdill was born Feb. 2, 1930 in Seattle to Joseph and Lottie Croasdill. He was raised in Bellevue and graduated from Overlake High School in 1947. Later that same year John entered the United States Air Force.

On Sept. 29, 1956 he married Sheila Rae Westhoff at Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church in Seattle. They settled in Bellevue where they started a family. John went to work for King County Medical, now Regence, as a Data Processing Manager. He retired in December of 1993.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Croasdill of Bellevue; children, Vicki Chester of Kenmore, Allen Croasdill of Redmond, Kathleen Croasdill of Kirkland, Amy Larson of Yelm and Matt Croasdill of Yelm; sister, Ann Payne of Kirkland; three grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and David and his grandson, Nicholas.
