John Michael Biladeau | Obituary

John Michael Biladeau of Bellevue passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at Brettonwood Adult Family in Bellevue.  He was 77.

Mr. Biladeau was born Jan. 4, 1934 in Framingham, Mass., to Charles and Theresa Biladeau.  Following high school he entered the United States Navy,

In 1956 he married Joan Petrillo.  They settled in the Tam O’Shanter development in Bellevue in January of 1973.  They were married for 32 years until her passing in 1988.  Together they had five children.

Community minded John served on the Tam O’Shanter board of directors and is a Past President of the development.  He was a driving force behind many projects in his community, using his experience, resources and professional contacts to help.  This included the Senior Golf Program and the Junior Golf Program at Tam O’Shanter; in which he gave years of loving energy.

Mr. Biladeau had a career with Shell Oil Company as the West Coast District Manager.

On Feb. 4, 1989 John married Bunni Marie Killmade in Bellevue, Washington at St. Louise Catholic Church.  They settled in Bellevue and began their life after retirement in 1991.  He was an active and dedicated member of St. Louise where he served in the Knights of Columbus, Chapter 4385, of which he is a Past Grand Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Bunni Biladeau of Bellevue; children, John Biladeau Jr. of Mount Lake Terrace, Debbie Hagel of Sammamish, Dawn Biladeau of Snohomish, Nancy Biladeau of Bellevue, Cindy Elder of Issaquah, Craig Moreland of Simpsonville, S.C., and Kirstin Tamminen of Bellevue; mother, Genevieve Biladeau of Florida; siblings, Verna Nelson of Georgia and Jackie Gallerani of Florida; 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The rosary will be said 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue.  A funeral mass will follow at 11 also at St. Louise Catholic Church.  A committal service will follow mass at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue.
