Bellevue-based custom jewelry retailer Joseph Jewelry will give away 250 handmade pendants to commemorate Thanksgiving starting Nov. 27. The gifts will go to individuals who have lost their jobs or homes during the economic recession.

Valid photo identification and documentation verifying job loss or foreclosure in the past two years are required to qualify for the giveaway.

“This last year and a half has been tough for everyone,” said Joseph Jewelry owner Joseph Boukhalil. “I know how important the holidays are for many families and many couples

“We have to treasure the ones we love in our life. We are hoping we can assist in that process this holiday season.”

The first 250 individuals qualified for the giveaway will be eligible for pendants.
