Kara Smith, a 2012 graduate of Bellevue High School, has won a $2,500 P.E.O. STAR Scholarship for her freshman year in the UW Foster School of Business. The award was given for Smith’s demonstrated excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics, and potential for success. She is the daughter of Ken and Lori Smith of Bellevue.
