Bellevue’s second annual Lake to Lake Bike ride, coming up on Saturday, June 15, will provide riders of all levels and abilities an opportunity to explore Bellevue on two wheels.

Riders can choose a mostly flat, approximately eight-mile Greenbelt Loop that is perfect for families or less experienced cyclists. A more challenging will include 22-mile Lake to Lake Loop with some challenging climbs.

The rides begin around 9 a.m. Both rides start and finish at Lake Hills Community Park, 1200 164th Ave. SE. Terrain on both routes includes low-traffic streets, bike lanes and gravel trails. The courses will be well-marked and supported by staff and volunteers.

Experienced and beginning riders are encouraged to participate. All riders under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is not suggested for children under eight years of age, unless riding in a trailer or tag-along.

The event will feature post-event prize raffles, refreshments and freebies for all participants, including a Pace custom bike hat. The first 150 to register will receive event socks by SOS socks.

The cost is $12 per rider with preregistration, and $17 per rider on the day of event. Proceeds will benefit the city of Bellevue Youth camp scholarship fund, which helps makes it possible for all kids to enjoy healthy and fun recreation.
