Drivers should expect nighttime delays on I-405 in Bellevue this weekend – and make plans for major paving work coming up Aug. 15-16.
First up, crews will close the following lanes and ramps from Aug. 7-9 for construction work.
· Friday, Aug. 7: Two lanes on northbound I-405 from Coal Creek Parkway and SE Eighth Street from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
· Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9: Three lanes on northbound I-405 from Coal Creek Parkway to SE Eighth Street. The first lane will close at 7 p.m., the second lane at 10 p.m. and the third at 11 p.m. All lanes will open by 8 a.m. on Sunday and 5 a.m. on Monday.
· Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9: Crews may close the following ramps:
· The on-ramp from eastbound I-90 to northbound I-405 nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
· The on-ramp from westbound I-405 to northbound I-405 nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
· The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to SE Eighth Street nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Crews may close the following lanes and ramps in the Bellevue nightly from Monday, Aug. 10, to Friday, Aug. 13, for construction work.
· Two lanes on northbound I-405 from 112th Avenue SE to SE Eighth Street.
· The ramps at the downtown Bellevue and I-90 interchanges.
