A resident in the 3300 block of 78th Place N.E. returned home at 1:45 a.m. July 12 to fine an unknown black male in her kitchen rummaging through her belongings. The woman screamed and the suspect fled on foot, according to Medina Police.

The victim later discovered her laptop computer and flat screen television had been taken. A K-9 unit was unsuccessful in tracking the suspect. It is believed he gained entry to the house through a door that was left unlocked.

The suspect is described as being in his mid 20s, tall, with a thin build.
