Bellevue LifeSpring will hold its 14th annual Step Up to the Plate Benefit Luncheon on Thursday, March 28, at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. About 1,000 people are expected to attend the 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. event to support children in the community.
Patti Payne, Puget Sound Business Journal columnist and Principal of The Payne Group, will emcee and Fa’izah Bradford, Community Engagement Specialist for the Bellevue School District, will be the guest speaker.
Honorary Chairs for the event are Joseph and Randi Brazen, owners of Brazen Sotheby’s International Realty and the 520 Bar & Grill. Joseph, who is on the Board of Directors of Bellevue LifeSpring, is particularly excited to be highlighting the organization’s youth programs.
“Bellevue LifeSpring has been helping kids for over 100 years, and it means so much to me to be a part of a long-standing Bellevue icon,” he said.
The luncheon is completely underwritten by sponsors to ensure that all funds raised go directly to programs and services. Presenting sponsor inome is joined this year by The Bellevue Collection, Aegis of Bellevue, Nintendo, Puget Sound Bank, Wells Fargo, Clark Nuber PS, The Peg and Rick Young Foundation and other community leaders in supporting the event.
Since 1911, Bellevue LifeSpring has worked to foster stability and self-sufficiency for Bellevue’s children and their families through programs that feed, clothe and educate.
