The Washington State Patrol cited a 30-year-old Bellevue man following a collision with a WSP patrol car parked on the left shoulder of Interstate 405 South near the westbound Interstate 90 exit on Sunday.

Yohanes Darmawan was attempting to exit at westbound I-90  around 11:45 a.m., and lost control of his 2006 Honda Civic while making a lane change causing his vehicle to collide with a WSP Ford Crown Victoria parked on the shoulder of the road, according to the state patrol.

Theodore Hahn, the 29-year-old trooper who was there investigating another collision, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Overlake Hospital on Sunday. Darmawan was cited for speed too fast for road conditions, and was not injured in the collision. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor, according to WSP. Damage to the patrol car is estimated at $5,000.
