Medina Police arrest two after traffic stop

Medina Police stopped a vehicle with three occupants inside for speeding in the 7700 block of NE 12th Street on May 5. The driver was arrested for having a suspended license and on a $5100 warrant out of Snoqualmie for possession of stolen property in the third degree.

Medina Police stopped a vehicle with three occupants inside for speeding in the 7700 block of NE 12th Street on May 5. The driver was arrested for having a suspended license and on a $5100 warrant out of Snoqualmie for possession of stolen property in the third degree.

One of the two passengers was arrested on a felony no bail warrant out of the Washington State Department of Corrections with nationwide extradition for parole violations. A search of this passenger also located a window punch tool commonly used for breaking car windows.

Other items in the vehicle were located that are frequently associated with vehicle prowling.

All three occupants were convicted felons with no explanation for why they were in the Medina area. The driver was turned over to the Snoqualmie Police Department on his warrant and the passenger was booked into the King County Jail.
