King County will hold a meeting in Bellevue to discuss projects under way or scheduled for construction in 2010 that involve placing large wood in rivers and streams as part of their design.
The meeting will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 26 at Bellevue City Hall, Room 1E-113, 450 110th Ave. NE.
The County places large wood in a number of its flood protection and habitat restoration projects to prevent streambank erosion and improve river and stream ecosystems.
