Another meeting has been scheduled in the search for a new school superintendent in Bellevue.
The meeting will be a 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 in the school district’s Transportation Training Center, 12025 NE Fifth Street.
(From 120th NE (same street as Home Depot), turn onto NE 5th Street and head up the hill. Take the first right and enter the lower parking lot. TTC is at the far end of this lower parking lot.)
During the meeting, the consultant will ask for strengths of the district, challenges the district will face in the future, desirable characteristics of the next superintendent, and suggestions for someone people would like to see the search firm recruit.
Those who cannot attend this feedback session, but who want to share their thoughts and opinions with the superintendent search consultants, can use feedback forms that are on the school district’s website – www.bsd405.org – as a PDF form and Microsoft Word file.
Based on feedback from the staff and community meetings, the search firm will present a profile of desirable characteristics of the next superintendent that will be used to publicize the job opening and recruit candidates. The profile will be shared with the school board at a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 in the school board meeting room, 12111 NE First Street.
