A memorial for Gwenn Barker-Harsh will be held at 1:30 p.m. May 3 at at the DAR Rainier Chapter House, 800 E. Roy St., Seattle.

Barker-Harsh, a former ballet corps de ballet member, soloist and teacher who drew upon her professional experience in the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo company to cultivate interest in ballet in the Seattle area, died in Bellevue on March 22.

Gifts may be made to the Gwenn Barker Endowed Scholarship Fund, which presents a yearly scholarship to an upper-level Cornish Preparatory Dance student who exhibits performance quality and potential in dance.
